Consent to Electronic Records

Please read this information carefully and print a copy and/or retain this information electronically for future reference. 

Introduction

In using this website, you will review, complete, acknowledge and/or sign electronic Pre-Qualification Requests and/or Credit Applications for the purpose of obtaining credit. This Consent to Electronic Records informs you of your rights when conducting these transactions electronically with Universal Lenders of Wisconsin, LLC and those third party lenders and providers to which Universal Lenders of Wisconsin, LLC may forward your Requests or Applications. By consenting, you acknowledge receipt of this Consent to Electronic Records and agree to the electronic delivery of any disclosures, information or notices required by federal law including any adverse action notices or privacy policy notices (hereinafter “Records”) at this website or through the electronic mail address you provide.

 

Hardware and Software Requirements

Before agreeing to receive Records electronically, you must determine if you have the necessary hardware and software to access and retain these Records electronically. To access your Records, you will need an electronic mailing address, Adobe Acrobat Reader, Microsoft Word, and a personal computer or other access device that is capable of accessing the Internet. To retain your Records, your access device must have the ability to download to your hard drive or any external media storage, or print the Records as well as embedded HTML files.

 

Right to Withdraw Consent and Procedures for Withdrawal

You may withdraw your consent to receive your Records electronically at any time (a) from Universal Lenders of Wisconsin, LLC by sending an email to the following address [email protected] or (b) from the lending institution which responded to you, by contacting such lending institution at the mailing address, e-mail address or telephone number which they provided to you in their response or offer. With the exception of email communications, your transaction will continue to be processed in non-electronic form at no charge. If you decide to withdraw your consent before your Pre-Qualification Request and/or Credit Application has been completed, reviewed, signed or processed, your transaction cannot be completed. If you decide to withdraw your consent after your Pre-Qualification Request and/or Credit Application has been completed, reviewed, signed or processed, the legal validity and enforceability of prior electronic Records will not be affected, and you will not have the option to later receive your Records electronically.

 

Consent Applies to Categories of Records

Your Consent to Electronic Records applies to all Pre-Qualification Requests and/or Credit Applications you submit to or through Universal Lenders of Wisconsin, LLC and to those creditors, lenders, and third party lenders and providers (“Lending Partners”) of credit-related products and services to which Universal Lenders of Wisconsin, LLC may forward your Requests or Applications for consideration. You will receive any Records required by federal law at this website or through the electronic mail address you provide.

 

Option to Obtain Paper Copies of Records

You have the option to request that Universal Lenders of Wisconsin, LLC provide you with paper copies of those records Universal Lenders of Wisconsin, LLC provides to you electronically at this website or through the electronic mail address you provide. If you wish to obtain the Records in non-electronic form, send your request to [email protected] and provide your mailing address. Universal Lenders of Wisconsin, LLC will not charge you for the first provision of the paper copies of the Records. Each copy thereafter will be five dollars.

APPLICATION TERMS

Applicant or Co-Applicant information should be completed as applicable. Co-Applicant information must also be provided when the income or the assets of a person other than the “Applicant” (including the Applicant’s spouse) will be used as a basis for loan qualification or the income or assets of the Applicant’s spouse will not be used as a basis for loan qualification, but his or her liabilities must be considered because the Applicant resides in a community property state, the security property is located in a community property state, or the Applicant is relying on other property located in a community property state as a basis for repayment of this loan. Married persons may apply for credit as an individual. If this is an application for an individual account and you are relying on your own income or assets (except community property states, your separate income or assets) and not the income or assets of another person (or community property) for repayment of the credit requested, questions relative to marital status and to income resources and assets of the spouse’s need not be answered. However, only the applicant’s resources will be evaluated in determining credit worthiness.

By submitting this application, you authorize Universal Lenders to make whatever credit inquiries that it deems necessary in connection with this credit application or in the course of review, collection, refinancing or consolidation of any credit extended in reliance on this application. You authorize and instruct any person or consumer reporting agency to compile and furnish to Universal Lenders any information that it may have to obtain in response to such information along with this application, shall remain Universal Lenders’ property whether or not credit is extended. Universal Lenders (or whichever of its affiliates may be considering an extension of credit pursuant to your credit application) may share with its affiliates any information it obtains from your credit application or acceptance certificate and any transactions and experiences between you and it. In addition, it may share with its affiliates any other information relation to you, however, you may request that such information not be shared with affiliates by notifying us in writing.
